Mar Philoxenos Private ITI caters to the educational needs of people living in and around Pathanamthitta, particularly the members of the Malankara Orthodox Church
The institution provides training in various Engineering and Non-Engineering trades. The course and curriculum are based on the standards laid down by the National Council for Vocational Training(NCVT), Ministry of Labour, New Delhi .

The institute is currently managed by the governing board, constituted by the Metropolitan of the Thumpamon Diocese, the Manager and the working board President, H. G. Kuriakose Mar Clemis, Rev Fr Titus George Vice President, Rev. Fr. Biju Mathews as the Secretary and Mr. Biju Geroge as the Principal.
